Our services are free for military members and their families. If you need similar services but are not affiliated with the military, please see Project You LLC at www.projectyou22.com. Both organizations provide similar services and are organized by the same professionals.

Yes, all information provided is voluntary. While the more information we have, the more personalized services can be, we recognize that some individuals may wish to remain anonymous. We respect your decision to do so and are here to provide whatever assistance you need in a way that makes you comfortable.

Yes! Our organization is not only concerned with helping others but making changes. We believe changes in the military culture can only be made with factual data and information. Therefore, we welcome all to participate in our surveys and research to help further our mission.

Depending on services, your information may be collected. The purpose is to collect data and conduct research. The ultimate goal is to understand the military culture and provide members with personalized resources. As a result, we must collect certain information. However, you can choose how much you share. By reviewing statistical data, we can reach conclusions and provide customizable services. Not only will your data help customize your services, but it will provide vital information to determine trends and other inciteful information. Rest assured, the only individuals with access to the data collection are qualified and trained individuals with the “need to know” within our organization.

Yes, all records and communications are confidential, except when required by law. However, different reporting requirements depend on who you communicate with and their legal obligations to share the information as a mandatory reporter. For example, we have clergy members who, according to Florida Law 90.505, “A communication between a member of the clergy and a person is “confidential” if made privately for the purpose of seeking spiritual counsel and advice from the member of the clergy in the usual course of his or her practice or discipline and not intended for further disclosure except to other persons present in furtherance of the communication.” Others who do not operate in this capacity may be required by law to report:

  1. If a client threatens or attempts to commit suicide or otherwise conducts themselves in a manner with a substantial risk of incurring severe bodily harm.
  2. If a client threatens grave bodily harm or death to another person.
  3. If the therapist has a reasonable suspicion that a client or other named victim is the perpetrator, observer of, or actual victim of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse of children under the age of 18 years.
  4. Suspicions, as stated above, in the case of an elderly person who may be subjected to these abuses.
  5. Suspected neglect of the parties named in items #3 and # 4.
  6. If a court of law issues a legitimate subpoena for information stated on the subpoena.
  7. If a client is in therapy or being treated by order of a court of law, or if the information is obtained to render an expert’s report to an attorney.

It is best to ask the individual you are communicating with what their legal requirements are if you have any questions.

Unless required by law, your information is not shared. Occasionally we may need to consult with other professionals in their areas of expertise to provide the best resources for you. Information about you may be shared in this context without using your name. If your data is utilized in research, your name will not be included. Under no circumstances will we sell information to others. If applicable, only sharing will occur in scientific or professional publications. In most cases, you will be made aware if the data is being collected for research purposes.

No, we accept all! While we are faith-based, we do not force our beliefs on anyone.

At this time we only have a Licensed Christian Counselor who provides those related services. We are not licensed through a particular state that is limited to the area in which you live. Instead, we are certified through the National Christian Counseling Association. We have different ethics to uphold as well as a diverse educational backgrounds. Additional ethics include living a Christ-honoring life and additional lifestyle requirements that other agencies do not mandate. While some Christian Counselors may have limited secular education, our counselor is well-versed in secular and spiritual matters. The primary difference is education. Christian counselors endure courses toward biblical solutions, while other professionals focus on different forms of therapies.
